I figured out why the guy at the convenience store was so confused when I was trying to buy my T-money card when I first got here. Apparently I was asking him if I could rent a T-money card. “Do you have,” is right beside “for rent” in the phrasebook. Huh. I really have no idea how I ended up on entirely the wrong page. Oops.
While we’re on the topic of my amazing language skills, I signed up for Korean lessons! They start next Wednesday. After I signed up for classes I took myself back-to-school shopping. Because one of the best things about school is getting to buy new pencils and erasers. I was going to buy normal erasers, but then I saw these. And who doesn’t want to erase their mistakes with a chocolate ice cream cone? (I would have chosen the healthy option, but the fruit and veggie erasers were 800 won, and these were only 400 won.)
And last, but certainly not least, I got some glamour shots done. Well, actually, I got some small photos taken for my Alien Registration Card and the guy who took the photos threw these in.

Also, I give in. Kpop is horrible and hilarious and awesome, all wrapped into one choreographed package.
